Project 88 is a bold reinterpretation of the iconic 1969 Land Rover Series 2A—respectfully restored and radically reimagined to merge vintage charm with modern overland performance. Built from the bones of a fully restored classic, this project carries forward the spirit of adventure while embracing contemporary design language.

The first phase of the build honors the purity of the original: soft blue bodywork, white roof, steel wheels, and heritage-correct detailing. But the next chapter pushes the vision forward. By August 2025, Project 88 will evolve into a fully modernized expedition rig—featuring wide fenders, custom bumpers, a roof rack with integrated lighting, side-mounted recovery gear, snorkel, and upgraded suspension and wheels.

The exterior design includes a custom stripe pattern in bold orange and soft gray, referencing the Gulf racing legacy while establishing its own distinctive identity. Inside, the truck will receive upgraded seating, ambient LED lighting, and refined finishes to match its dual purpose—functionality and visual presence.

Designed by an architect with a passion for blending eras, Project 88 is an experiment in evolution: one foot in the past, the other in the future. Every bolt, bracket, and graphic is considered. Every choice reflects a balance of respect and reinvention.
