COOL & CLASSIC 4x4

1977 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ45 - ARCHETYPE
Designed by an Architect. Built for the Wild.
ARCHETYPE is a one-of-a-kind reimagining of the legendary Toyota FJ45—transformed into a four-door overland machine that fuses brutal capability with architectural precision. Conceived as both a rolling sculpture and a fully functional expedition truck, ARCHETYPE represents a new era in design-driven off-roading.
Finished in a rich matte bronze with matching wheels and aggressive all-terrain tires, every line of this truck has been rethought. The extended body features modernized paneling, widened fenders, and a custom-fabricated bed rack system designed for storage, gear organization, and roof-top camping.
The front end pays homage to Toyota’s vintage Land Cruiser DNA with a subtly retro grille and circular headlights, while the truck’s silhouette is unmistakably contemporary. A 6-light rally array, modular roof rack, side jerry cans, spare tire carrier, recovery boards, and a low-profile rooftop tent make this rig equally ready for Baja or the backcountry.
Inside, ARCHETYPE will feature custom seating, integrated lighting, and intuitive cabin ergonomics—marrying rugged practicality with design excellence. Powered by a Tacoma drivetrain and upgraded suspension, it’s not just about looks—it’s built to perform.
ARCHETYPE isn’t just a custom truck—it’s a design statement. It blurs the boundary between utility and art, standing as the flagship build for Cool & Classic 4x4 and a bold introduction to what’s possible when architecture meets the trail.
